First steps
- Read the most current release notes.
- Review the concepts to understand the SDK and how it works.
- Review and often reference the examples.
- Obtain, become familiar with, and reference the appropriate ASC X12 implementation guides for a detailed explanation of the X12N transaction sets, uniform data content, valid code tables and appropriate code lists, data values and formats.
- Become familiar with worker compensation billing practices, including various billing codes as well as national and jurisdictional requirements.
Register for a Developer Account
You must register for a developer account which identifies you as an authorized user of the SDK and there you will obtain your credentials which are necessary to initialize the SDK on your application's startup. Please refer to our personal information privacy policy at the link in the footer of our website. The short of it is that, your data is secure and we do not share it or sell it.
Your Developer Account
Once you have verified your developer account, you will have access to your profile page where you will find:
- your unique security token (sid) and authorization token (aid). Your user id, together with the sid and aid (collectively your "credentials"). As already stated, your credentials are used to initialize the SDK at your application start up.

Evaluation Mode
Your credentials will be valid for fifteen (15) days during which you will have full access to the SDK, after which authorization will expire.
Production Mode.
To activate production mode, log into your developer account and enter payment method.
