The Bishop X12N NET SDK adheres to the ASC X12 Standards for Electronic Data Interchange Technical Report Type 3 implementations which is based on ASC X12N/005010 (Insurance) version 5, Release 1. It also conforms to guidance from the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC) which is an association of jurisdictional agencies as well as private organizations involved in the delivery of workers' compensation benefits and services.
The Bishop X12N NET SDK enables developers of any skill to easily and confidently integrate complex X12N (Insurance) EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processing for Worker Compensation including the 837 Claim (Professional, Institutional & Dental), 835 Remittance, 277 Status, 999 and TA1 Acknowledgment electronic billing transactions natively from within their systems, processing solutions, and applications.
It is like a black box that handles all of the complications of reading and writing your billing data to and from X12N EDI and it handles all of the of nuances of X12N EDI processing for you, including complex operations like transaction structure management, accurate X12 loop, segment and element use and coding, file management, transaction splitting and batching, auto generation of acknowledgement transactions and much, much more.
